First of all, on behalf of AOCF, I would like to thank Francine, John and Joel for organising this snow trip event. They have made lots of research regardin this event and they deserve a credit for this. Haha.
We have decided that the snow trip will kick off on 1st September 2009 until 4th September 2009. It is the first week of the mid semester break and I guess it is better to do it on first week. We can leave the 2nd week for our own things, especially assignments. OH NO!!..
I will give you the rough plan on what we are doing throughout that period. We won't be using all 4 days to snowboard/ ski on top of the mountain.
TUesday
9am : Meet at Chapel, pray etc
10am : Leave
About 12pm : Lunch somewhere in Hamilton?
About 330/4pm: Arrive at Ohakune and check in, perhaps at Station Lodge
Rest of the day: Bum around, dinner, BIG SLEEP IN PREPARATION FOR SNOW!
Wednesday
630am: Wake up, breakfast
720am: Be outside SLR, waiting for it to open at 730am
830am: Hopefully on the way down to the snow
4pm : Gather
About 5pm: Return stuff
6/630pm : back on the road to Rotorua
Arrive, check into youth hostel
Call/buy Domino's pizza for dinner? (There's a Domino's on Fenton street, it won't be hard to find)
Thursday
Bit more chillaxed,
9am: leave for Skyline luge rides etc/just hang out for the people who're not keen on going
Lunch
Polynesian Spa
BBQ dinner + Angel game + some telematch games. More for bonding time together..awwww!
Friday
10am: Check out (check out time is 10am)
Slowly make our own ways back to Auckland.
So yea, this is the rough plan. What I need from you now is for your confirmation on this trip as we need the confirmed number of people in order for us to book for accommodation. Once confirmed, hopefully you won't pull out last minute because that will affect the plans so badly.
That's all for now. Any questions, just write down on the comment box below.

ReplyDeleteDon't know about the rough estimate of the "damage". Plus, which "damage" are you refering to? Like damage to the snow gears or something?
